We're not a big operation pretending to be small for aesthetic reasons. DIVINITY is genuinely run close to the ground: real batches, personally managed, nothing outsourced to a system big enough to lose track of quality.
How a Batch Actually Works
Every drop starts with a real order placed with a manufacturer, a specific quantity, a specific cost, calculated before a single piece exists. Production typically runs 8 to 10 days, followed by 8 to 10 days of shipping to get the finished pieces to us. That's a real 16 to 20 day lead time from order to arrival, not a vague "coming soon."
We don't order thousands of units speculatively. Batches are sized to what we can actually sell and stand behind.
Why 260gsm, Why DTG
These aren't arbitrary specs. 260gsm heavyweight cotton sits well above standard retail weight, around 150 to 180gsm, and is the range that holds structure and survives repeated washing without going thin.
Our graphics are DTG printed, which means the design is printed directly into the cotton rather than sitting on top of it. That's what lets us reproduce full-color, detailed artwork — every pane of stained glass, every face at the Last Supper — that screen printing, with one screen per color, can't capture well. On heavyweight 100% cotton with proper pretreatment, it stays soft and holds up wash after wash. What we won't use is cheap heat-transfer vinyl, which sits on the surface and cracks.
We chose both because cutting either corner would mean the product stops matching what we actually claim about it.
What Small-Batch Actually Means Here
It means one person is making pricing, production, and quality decisions directly, not a committee optimizing for margin across a catalog of hundreds of items. It means a genuine, traceable line from a real manufacturer relationship to what shows up at your door. It's slower and smaller than mass production. That's the trade we've made on purpose.
